摘要

The GT-Power software was used to design and optimize the CN100 muffler. The acoustic and aerodynamic performance simulations were carried out by establishing the working process model of engine and the simulation model of muffler. In the coupled model, the insertion loss and pressure loss can be calculated at the same time and the calculating time is shortened. By means of performance simulation and experiment, the tail pipe noise of modified muffler is reduced by 6.4dB (A), which achieves the exhaust design requirement.
