摘要
This study compares the lexical chunks in textbooks of medical English and college English. The corpora adopted in this study are collected from several different publishing companies, and are used for English teaching in several different universities. It is found that there are similarities and differences in textbooks of medical English and college English in the number, structural types and functions of lexical chunks. Some suggestions on editing medical English textbooks have been made based on the present results.
