The construction and operation of gas storage is a multi-disciplinary comprehensive technology, and also a complicated systems engineering. In this paper, on the basis of the research of the related literature at home and abroad, gives the mathematical model that 's suitable for cylindrical or oval salt cavity gas storage, which can be applied to numerical simulation of salt cavity gas storage building cavity research, hops to basis for gas storage construction fledgling can follow.
