摘要

The influence of strength properties of a cobalt binder and tungsten carbide grains on the operational characteristics of hard-alloy picks of drilling bits is investigated. Results are used to develop new brands of hard alloys based on high-temperature tungsten carbides such as VK6S, VK10S, VK15S, and VK15K. It is established that the application of these alloys in the pick production gives the opportunity to increase the penetration speed due to the use of picks with a more aggressive design. It is shown that new alloy brands also make it possible to increase the resource of the instrumental accessories made of them.
