摘要

Due to the wide variances of soil components, different tillage and residue conditions, and own weight loss along with sowing and spreading manure, fixed downforce management may lead to too much downforce in some areas and not enough in others. The emergence of automatic planting downforce system is a good solution to this phenomenon, which can achieve real-time downforce monitoring and sufficient frequently adjustment. However, little attention has been focused on the effects of sensor selection on planting downforce control system. This study was developed to determine the optimum load sensor pattern by carrying a contrast experiment of four different sensor forms in lab. By building a test bench, the sensors’calibration, measurement accuracy and response time tests were carried out, and the results showed that with additional pressure of 25kg load, the performance of Wheatstone-bridge strain gauges with high measurement accuracy of -0.00344 and quick response time of 0.6s were better than that of other sensor forms. Besides, based on the contrast experiment of sensor 2 and sensor 3, the result demonstrated that under additional pressure of 5kg, 15kg and 25 kg load, the performance of Wheatstone-bridge strain gauge attached to the furrow depth adjusting member with high measurement accuracy of 0.003, 0.011 and 0.019 respectively was better than that installed on the gauge wheel arm.
