摘要
In this PCR chip, the samples containing the genes of potential patients are loaded through an inlet flowing along the channels etched in silicon and infused into reaction chambers. The DNA diagnosis relies on the detection of the fluorescence of the dye bound to the minor groove of the DNA double helix. The flowing structure in a PCR chip of leukemia diagnosis is designed based on experimental observation of the liquid flowing in the micro-channels and the CFD analysis of the concentration distributions, which offers useful results for the optimization and fabrication of the structures in the chips.
