摘要
A planar monopole antenna with dual wideband resonance characteristics is presented that simultaneously satisfies wireless local area network (802.11 a/b) and Wi-MAX applications. The proposed antenna structure consists of a rectangular monopole beveled at the base with a modified H shaped slot and occupies an area of 32 x 51.5 mm2. The measured realized gain is around 2.0 dBi in the lower band (2.352.80 GHz) and about 3.8 dBi in the upper band (3.285.95 GHz).
