摘要

Sections 1 and 2 of the full paper explain our algorithm mentioned in the title, which we believe is new and effective and whose core consists of: (1) it employs correspondence analysis to transform the 8-band multispectral data into the component space;(2) the spatial details of panchromatic image are injected into the space with multispectral data decomposed into sub-images;(3) the fused results are obtained as a single inverse transform. The experimental results, presented in Fig.3, and their analysis show preliminarily that our algorithm produces indeed a better trade-off between the spatial resolution enhancement and the spectral information preservation than some existing fusion algorithms.
