In the title compound, C(19)H(17)N(3)O, the planes of the aromatic substituents attached to the benzamide moiety are almost perpendicular to one another, making a dihedral angle of 88.16 (7)degrees. The observed conformation of the molecule is produced by an intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond.
