A comparison study of vertical dynamics and noise model of a railway vehicle and track

摘要

The model of vehicle, track and excitation are discussed for prediction of wheel/rail contact force and noise. For the force prediction of wheel/rail cutoff frequency 1000Hz is need. While for noise prediction cutoff frequency of 5000Hz is better. Complete vehicle model and no ballast track model with Timoshenko beam is suggested for prediction the force. The results get from Enter beam will he greater than that from the Timoshenko beam model. The simplified vehicle model (mass-spring model) and track model (no ballast) are adequate for the noise prediction. The beam model of ties should be used to replace the mass in order to predict the noise radiated from the ties. The wheel flats treated as initial vertical velocity of wheel is not suitable for contact force or noise prediction.
