摘要
Nasal iodine activity can be observed on (123)Iodine (I-123) or I-131 whole-body scintigraphy (WBS) commonly as a normal variant caused by nasal or salivary secretion of the tracer. We encountered 2 patients whose increased accumulation of I-131 activity was associated with underlying abnormalities. One patient had a nasal polyp, whereas the other had an abscess.
