The uncharged complex {Ag(pyrimidine)(0.5)NO3}infinity is prepared and characterized by X-ray diffraction studies which reveal a novel non-centrosymmetric three-dimensional (3-D) framework based both on the metal ions bound to ligands and anion bonding mode.
