It was shown that the measurement of instantaneous values in equal time intervals is not necessary to determine an active power density in electrical steel by means of hysteresis loop area planimetry. It is not also necessary accuracy filling of period by intervals between samples, These properties makes this method appropriate for determining of samples power in the range of high instantaneous values of magnetizing current.
