摘要
The title compound, C(13)H(12)N(2)O(2)S, was prepared by the reaction of 1-(2-hydroxyphenyl)ethanone and thiophene-2-carbohydrazide. The dihedral angle between the benzene and thiophene rings is 10.07 (17)degrees. An intramolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bond may influence the molecular conformation. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds into chains along [010].
