摘要

In this paper, the homotopy analysis method is applied via a basis that is fractional or fractional in most of its terms to obtain analytic approximations to the strongly nonlinear problem for the mass transfer on the two-dimensional stagnation point flow of an upper-convected Maxwell fluid over a stretching surface. A convergence theorem for the application is presented. Effects on the surface mass transfer, the velocity, and the concentration profiles are performed and discussed. The results show that the velocity increases with the increasing of the stretching ratio and decreases for large values of the magnetic parameter; the magnetic parameter and Deborah number have the opposite effect on the velocity and concentration fields. Also, it is remarked that the concentration decreases with the increasing of the Schmidt parameter, and it has the opposite effect on the destructive and generative chemical reactions.
