摘要

Aimed at signal design mode of one-phase-one-approach, following the design principle of maximum green wave bandwidth and making use of the time-space analysis method, a new algebraic method of arterial road coordinate control for bidirectional green wave which can be used in the signal design mode of one-phase-one-approach was presented. This method can be used to optimize the phase sequence of each intersection, determine the optimal common signal cycle and signal offsets, and calculate the green wave bandwidth in different arterial road directions. Analysis results show that compared with the algebraic method in the signal design mode of one-phase-symmetry-flow, this method can be used to select the ideal intersection spacing in a larger range and more adapts to the situation which the intersection spacings are uneven. The algebraic method in the signal design mode of one-phase-one-approach has good control result, even if the intersection spacings are uneven.
