摘要
Under the background of globalization of economy and culture, English has become the most common language in the world. Higher education institutions are facing the transition period of English teaching. Based on the global environment, the objectives and ideas of college English teaching reform in the period of foreign language teaching reform were studied in this paper. The present teaching situation and curriculum of college English teaching were analyzed. Then, the teaching strategies of public English class in this period were put forward. Finally, the teaching measurement and evaluation of college English courses were analyzed. The teaching measurement and evaluation can better feedback teaching information, improve teaching quality, and adjust teaching methods.
