摘要
Mini-Abstract The most common cardiac complications after prosthetic valve replacement include prosthetic valve endocarditis, thromboembolism, pericardial effusion, hemolysis, and valve failure due to prosthetic valve thrombosis or periprosthetic regurgitation. Aorto-atrial fistula after valve surgery is a rare complication, which usually occurs after aortic valve surgery. However, development of an aorto-left atrial fistula after prosthetic mitral valve replacement is very rare. Here, we present a patient who had aorto-atrial fistula evaluated by transesophageal echocardiography.
