摘要

The available safe evacuation time under longitudinal ventilation and smoke exhaust mode in tunnel obtained by numerical simulation method was compared with the required safe evacuation time calculated by the empirical formula of Togawa to judge the safety of evacuation. The critical time of ventilation was analyzed and determined. Results show that the start time of ventilation has a significant impact on the safety of evacuation under longitudinal ventilation and smoke exhaust in tunnel. Personnel evacuation is not safe when the start time of ventilation is earlier than 180 s. If the heat release rate of fire source is not greater than 15 MW, the safe evacuation of personnel can be ensured when the start time of ventilation is not earlier than 180 s. But if the heat release rate of fire source is greater than 15 MW, the safe evacuation of personnel can be ensured only when the start time of ventilation is not as early as 180 s and is not later than 240 s. When the longitudinal ventilation velocity is greater than 3 m•s-1, the safe evacuation of personnel can be ensured if the start time of ventilation is not earlier than 180 s. But when the longitudinal ventilation velocity is not greater than 3 m•s-1, the safe evacuation of personnel can be ensured only if the start time of ventilation is not as early as 180 s and is not later than 300 s. It is comprehensively concluded that the critical time of ventilation during train fire in railway tunnel is 180 s.
