摘要

A novel conformal microstrip quasi-yagi antenna is designed. The antenna utilizes a simple coplanar waveguide (CPW) feed, therefore, alleviating the complicated feeding network. The bow-tie-dipolar is used as the driven element to broaden the bandwidth. Each director is cut into three sections to enhance the gain and match the impedance. Measurement results show that the S11 of the proposed antenna is less than -10 dB over 790~1080 MHz with a relative bandwidth of 30%. The maximum gain of the antenna is 3.8 dB and follows the direction of the directors.
