摘要

An overlapped domain decomposition method for the modified N-Muller formulation is proposed for the analysis of electromagnetic scattering by 3-D homogeneous dielectric objects with low relative permittivity. This method makes it possible to store only part of the matrix into memory, and hence can reduce the storage significantly for an electrically large object. In the scheme, the equivalent electric and magnetic currents in each subdomain can be accurately solved by using the buffer region. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate that the proposed scheme yields accurate RCS results within a very few outer iterations. Here, an outer iteration means a sweep for all subdomains once.
