摘要

Alprazolam indications are mainly used for anxiety, tension, excitement, can be used for hypnotic or anxiety adjuvant drugs, but also as anti-panic drugs, and can alleviate the symptoms of acute alcohol withdrawal. We developed a urine metabolomics to evaluate the effect of alprazolam on rats. The rats were divided into four group, the control group and three dose alprazolam treated group. The alprazolam treated group rats were given 5, 10, 20 mg/kg (Low, Medium, High) of alprazolam by intragastric administration each day for 14 days, the urine samples were colected at the seventh and fourteenth day. Compared to the control group, the level of succinic acid of Low and High group decreased in the fourteen day. Rats exposed to alprazolam, succinic acid decreased, there may be energy metabolism disorders, especially mitochondrial tricarboxylic acid cycle energy generation. Metabolomics could distinguish different alprazolam dose in rats in 14 days, it indicates that metabolomics may be useful to elucidate the effect alprazolam in rats.
