摘要

Spontaneous formation of spherical hydroxylapatite (HAP) aggregates with particle diameters from 10 mum to 1-2 mm (mostly, 15-300 mum) is observed in boiling suspensions of nanocrystalline HAP. The material is characterized by electron and atomic-force microscopy and porometry. The particle-size distribution functions for the spherical aggregates are studied as a function of treatment conditions.
