摘要

In this paper we present a conceptual solution which uses Web Service Atomic Transaction (WS-AT) mechanism for addressing the issues of integrating the distributed business transactions running on modern and legacy systems and synchronize them in a single business processing flow to guarantee their ACID properties. Unlike the traditional transaction processing methods by using transnational connectors, our method completely ignores the difference of the heterogeneous platforms by adopting open standard Web Services and 2PC specification. A research WS-AT based distributed communication system, which has been developed on IBM Mainframe Customer Information Control System (CICS) and Microsoft Windows WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and experimental results indicate that a full WS-AT based communication architecture can remarkably increase the EISs';s reliability, flexibility and interoperability.
