ERROR ANALYSIS FOR FAR-FIELD APPROXIMATE EXPRESSION OF SOMMERFELD-TYPE INTEGRAL

In this communication, the error of the Sommerfeld-type integral approximate expression given by Chew [1] in the far field is discussed. It is demonstrated that Chew's method is correct, not only intuitively, but also rigorously.
