摘要

The high resolution absorption spectrum of methane has been recorded at room temperature by high sensitivity Cavity Ring Down Spectroscopy between 7908.5 and 8345 cm(-1). The investigated spectral region corresponds to the high energy part of the 1.25 mu m transparency window where experimental measurements were missing. The extremely congested spectrum is mainly due to the superposition of weak bands of the triacontad in strong interaction. An empirical list of more than 12700 absorption features is built from a multiline fit of the spectrum.
