A fault signal data compression plan based on optimal pre-processing method of multiwavelet

The pre-processing method of multiwavelet is one of key factors impacting its applications. It is suggested that the optimal pre-processing method should be comprehensively chosen according to both the influence of pre-processing method on filter and the application of practical signal, and a compression plan for multiwavelet data based oh this method is proposed and applied to the data compression of transmission line fault signal. Simulation results show that the proposed plan can solve the option of multiwavelet pre-processing method well and the compression effect is satisfactory.
