摘要

Quantifying the therapeutic effect of acupuncture is one of the biggest challenges in the modernization of acupuncture treatment. Based on the relationship between acupuncture and human microcirculation, this paper presents a therapeutic effect detection method based on laser speckle blood perfusion imaging (LSBPI). And a blood perfusion index (PI) was defined to measure the therapeutic effect of acupuncture. Aiming at the problem of image contrast reduction caused by human shaking and other factors in acupuncture process, an automatic image matching method was proposed. The LSBPI system was tested by a simulation experiment consisting of water pump and hoses. Acupuncture experiments were performed on 10 volunteers at the point of Waiguan, and the variance of PI of the different area on the hand was compared. The results showed that the PI of the finger during the acupuncture is more than 60% higher than that in the natural state. This new technique may have practical significance in the detection of therapy effects of acupuncture.
