摘要

In view of the difficulty in quantitatively evaluating the comfort of paddles handling during vehicle design, an assessment method of the handling comfort based on the stress distribution of driver's knee joint is proposed in this paper. Firstly, a 50th percentile male is chosen for conducting pedal manipulation experiment and as the object of modeling, and Kane method is used to analyze the changing features of joint torques of human lower limb in the conditions of different pedal forces for determining the loads of knee joint. Then the stress distribution features of knee joint are analyzed using finite element method and on this basis, the main stress characteristic parameters of knee joint are screened as the objective evaluation indicators of pedal manipulation comfort. Finally, a comfort model is established by using linear regression technique. The results of experiment and analysis provide references for the biomechanics research of human body joint in the process of man-machine operation and the assessment method proposed can be used to guide the evaluation and optimization of handling comfort of vehicle pedals.
