摘要

Mechano-chemical effect of SiC powder in wet grinding was studied. The characteristics of powder samples with different cumulative grinding time were analyzed by means of particle size analyzer, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results indicate that the particle size of SiC powder gradually decreases with more uniform particle size distribution, and the grain size decreases accompanied by an increase of micro-strain with the extension of grinding time. The mechano-chemical effect causes the crystal structure amorphization of the SiC powder. Mechanical energy is used to crush the SiC particles in the initial stage of grinding and prevent the SiC particles from agglomeration caused by the activation of mechanical forces in the later period.
