摘要

A novel flower-type circular polarization patch antenna is analyzed in this paper. The antenna is composed of four orthogonal antenna units. The phase position of these four elementary antenna units is 0, 90, 90, 0 degrees. The whole antenna is placed on a metal base. The flower-type patch antenna as a radiating element is adopted in the unit. The antenna is evolved from the monopole microstrip patch antenna. Four metal bars are added to the position between the antenna unit for the improvement of the impedance matching between the radiation units and the efficiency of the antenna within the bandwidth. According to the simulation results, the 3 dB axial ratio relative bandwidth is up to 57.7% in the 2 similar to 7GHz frequency band. The structure of circular polarization antenna has good research prospect in the field of communications.
