摘要

A three-dimensional parallel program based on unstructured grid for reacting flows was developed using the CE/SE method. Firstly, a scramjet combustor model was chosen to validate the present program. The computed results agree well with the experimental data. And then, the cavity combustion flows with three length-to-depth ratios were simulated under stoichiometric conditions by using 8-species, 34-elementary reaction model. The flame-holding and mixing enhancement characteristics of the cavities were evaluated. It demonstrates that CE/SE method is able to simulate the supersonic combustion of cavities, and the numerical studies can help understand the flame holding mechanism of the cavity.
