摘要
Due to high cost of marine structures, health monitoring plays an important role in their maintenance. State of art evaluation systems are highly dependent on human judgment and consequently can be controversial. In order to minimize human interaction in maintenance of such structures, a novel classification system named as Marine Structure Health index (MSHi) is presented. This health index delivers a quantified value that can represent health condition of the structure and could potentially have extensive applications in the evaluation process. In this paper twelve types of distresses have initially been investigated and rated and then a method based on fuzzy Delphi analytic hierarchy process (FDAHP) was developed. A case study shows the application of the developed method.
