摘要
The simple model for 4f-5d transitions proposed by Duan and Reid is Successfully applied to the simulation of the 4f-5d spectra of Yb(3 ) doped in crystals, where the parameterized energy matrix elements and the coefficients contained in f-d transition matrix elements have been obtained and tabulated. As an example, these data tables have been used to explain the absorption spectra of Yb(3 ) doped in crystal CaF(2).
