FABRICATION OF MICROSENSORS ON BIPOLAR PLATE OF PORTABLE FUEL CELL

摘要

Measuring the temperature and humidity inside the fuel cell is currently a difficult task. Accordingly, in this study, microsensors are fabricated on the bipolar plate of the portable fuel cell to measure the temperature and humidity. The advantages of array micro sensors are their small volume, high accuracy, short response time, simplicity in fabrication, suitability for mass production. The experimental results reveal that the temperature is almost linearly related to the resistance and that the accuracy and sensitivity are less than 0.5 degrees C and 3.77 x 10(-3)/degrees C, respectively. The accuracy and sensitivity of the humidity sensor are less than 3% RH and 0.6 pF/% RH, respectively.
