摘要

A theoretical analysis has identified energy shock as the main cause of coal and gas outburst at a cross cut. Stress and displacements were simulated during a cross cut process. The results show that a soft circle isolates and absorbs deeper stress while a strong circle holds the residual stress and gas pressure. The strength of the structure is higher when these are used together. Reinforcement of the strong circle and the sizes of the strong and soft circles affect the outburst effect. Stronger strong-circles protect against outburst. When the soft circle is four meters and the strong one is two meters the effect on outburst emission is best.
