The Sn atoms of the monomeric title compound, [ Sn-2(C6H11)(6)S], display slightly distorted SnSC3 tetrahedral geometries, with mean Sn - C and Sn - S distances of 2.163 ( 6) and 2.4089 ( 14) angstrom, respectively. The bridging Sn - S - Sn angle is 113.43 (5)degrees.
