摘要
Stereology for spheres, whose diameters distribution corresponds to the logarithmiconormal (LN) distribution is presented. A method for stereological estimation of parameters (alpha,beta) of the LN probability density function is proposed. The size distribution of Fe(3)C-particles in spheroidized cementite of some steels is of the LN type. In such a case the size distribution measurement may be reduced to stereological estimation of the alpha,beta parameters.
