摘要

The Zagreb indices have been introduced by Gutman and Trinajstic as M-1(G) = Sigma(v is an element of V(G))(d(G)(v))(2) and M-2(G) = Sigma(uv is an element of E(G))d(G)(u)d(G)(v), where d(G)(u) denotes the degree of vertex u. We now define a new version of Zagreb indices as M-1*(G) = Sigma(uv is an element of E(G))[epsilon(G)(u) + epsilon(G)(v)] and M*(2)(G) = Sigma(uv is an element of E(G))epsilon(G)(u)epsilon(G)(v), where epsilon(G)(u) is the largest distance between u and any other vertex v of G. The goal of this paper is to further the study of these new topological index.
