摘要

In this paper, we present an intelligent portable instrument for measurement of dissolved oxygen (DO) in aquaculture. This instrument has been designed and implemented with the technique of intelligent transducing and intelligent instrument designing. It is composed of DO intelligent transducer and DO intelligent handheld terminal, which both use MSP430 as micro-processor. The DO intelligent transducer has the functions of plug-and-play, prone-to-change, automatic temperature compensation. And the DO intelligent handheld terminal realizes well designed man machine interface and convenient data processing function. This instrument can automatically determine the stability of the DO probe which needs a few minutes to be stable after starting to work. The experimental results of measuring DO with the instrument in aquaculture fields shows that this portable instrument is reliable for long periods of time to work and is easy-to-handle with compact size.
