摘要

We present analytic and numerical results for the scattering of a spin 1/2 particle on a nucleus in the presence of an intense plane-wave laser pulse of arbitrary duration and shape. We obtain the general form of the differential cross section, we describe an approximate method for its numerical evaluation and discuss the general properties of the electron energy and angular distribution. We show that the shape and duration of the laser pulse have a significant influence on the electron distribution. Also a comparison with the results obtained in the monochromatic approximation is included.
