摘要

Establishment of plant communities in new rural public green spaces is an important part during green building. In this research, the plant communities of the new rural public green spaces in 12 representative new countrysides within Yangtze Delta region were investigated. Our results showed that, there were 69 species of woody plants in total, belonging to 34 families and 54 genus, and 37 species of them were indigenous species. In addition, the application quantities and frequencies of Osmanthus fragrans, Lagerstroemia indica, Salix babylonica, Cinnamomum camphora and Loropetalum chinense var.rubrum, Ligustrum vicaryi and Photinia glabra were high. However, in the study regions, the ratio of arbors to bushes was imbalanced, and so were the ratio of evergreen trees to deciduous ones and the ornamental proportions. Furthermore, the plant arrangements in the road-side green belts and the park green spaces were abundant, whereas in riparian green spaces, they were single. Together these indicated that, the plant species applied in new rural public green space within Yangtze Delta region of China were rather poor, the utilization rate of indigenous plants species was low, and the greening was characterless. Thus, the new rural greening in Yangtze Delta region should be paid more attention by the constructer.
