摘要
Carbon nanotubes are fascinating materials due to their applicability to various devices such as field emission displays, energy storage, memory devices, and nanoscale electronics. In this review, we discuss several issues involved in the growth of vertically aligned carbon nanotubes at low temperatures for use as electron emitters, as well as their application to secondary electron emission and field emission displays developed in our laboratory.
