摘要

Micro-sized subuliform CeO2 have been successfully synthesized via a reflux method for the first time. The formation mechanism is discussed by varying the reaction time. Photocatalytic experiment shows that the obtained subuliform CeO2 exhibit good photocatalytic properties by the degradation of a Rhodamine B solution under UV radiation. The cyclic voltammetric measurements of hemoglobin immobilized on CeO2-Nafion modified glassy carbon electrode reveal a typical characteristic of surface-controlled thin-layer electrochemical behavior of the subuliform CeO2. Moreover, the modified electrode showed excellent bioelectrocatalytic activity for the reduction of hydrogen peroxide.
