摘要

Al-doped MoSi2 powder with the composition of Mo(Si1-xAlx)(2) (x=0 similar to 0.06) were prepared by combustion synthesis. The phases, micro-structures and infrared radiation properties of Al doped MoSi2 were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope and IR-2 infrared emissometer. The results indicate that the synthesized powders with single C11(b) structure are obtained when x value ranges from 0 to 0.04. The second phase Mo(Si,Al)(2) with C40 structure is also formed when x value is endowed 0.05 and 0.06. The effects of Al doping on the micro-structures of the powder are weak, and the grain sizes are in the range of 1 similar to 3 mu m. The infrared radiation property of MoSi2 could be enhanced due to the doping Al into its lattice structure. The appropriate Al doping content x is 0.05.
