摘要
To date do not exist reliable estimations on the real consistence of hydrocarbon resources and only a Jew more than a quarter of basins potentially interesting for exploration have been adequately studied. Even the most sophisticated techniques of investigation often reveal inadequate or contradictory and for this reason several oil companies are considering the potentialities offered by other new technologies, such as multispectral Remote Sensing. This short review describes the state of the art of hydrocarbon microseep detection in arid lands using multispectral optical remote sensing techniques.
