Application of fast multipole method in current marching technique

摘要

Based on the advantage of the current march technique (CMT), a very valid method for computing the electromagnetic field scattered by three-dimensional (3-D) perfectly conducting objects using dual-surface magnetic field integral equation, a proved method combined the Fast Multipole Method and the CMT is given. The characteristics of CMT are the forward-backward iterative and the Gauss-Seidel relaxation using new values. The time of computation is shortened by applying the modified fast multipole method (FMM) in CMT. In the course of the iteration, the computational complexity of CMT is reduced. The process of this method is given and the results proved its validity.
