摘要
Stimulating antibodies against G-protein-coupled receptors, including the beta 1-and beta 2-adrenergic receptors, the alpha 1-adrenergic receptor, and the angiotensin II AT1 receptor, have been described, as well as activating antibodies directed at the platelet-derived growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase. Their existence and actions appear to be established. Lacking are mechanistic studies of receptor activation and translational studies to document receptor-stimulating antibodies as worthwhile therapeutic targets.
