Rheology of glycolyzates produced by conversion of polyetherurethane wastes

Wastes of soft polyetherurethane foam were glycolyzed with HOCnH2nOH diols (n = 2-6) at 75 degrees C (mass ratio equal to 6:1) in presence AcOK (used as catalyst). The glycolyzates were studied for rheol. properties to det. the flow share rate and viscosity curves at changing share rate. The Hershley-Buckley model was most convenient for description of the flow curves.
