In the title compound, C10H13Br2N, the amino N atom is essentially coplanar with the benzene ring, with an r.m.s. deviation of 0.004 angstrom. Weak intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot Br hydrogen bonds occur. In the crystal, molecules are linked into a zigzag chain parallel to the b axis by weak N-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bonds.
